Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nick Dove ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses and protects information when you visit nickdove.co.uk (the "Site").

1. Who I am

This Site is operated by Nick Dove, operating as a sole trader in the UK.

Contact: nick@nickdove.co.uk

2. What information I collect

The only personal information collected through this Site is what you choose to submit via the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

I do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technologies on this Site. No information is collected automatically about your visit.

3. How I use your information

Information submitted via the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry — for example, to discuss mentoring, workplace wellbeing, workshops or speaking opportunities. I do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and I do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How your information is processed

The contact form on this Site is powered by a third-party service, FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which transmits form submissions to my email inbox. FormSubmit acts as a data processor for this purpose. You can review FormSubmit's own privacy practices at their website.

Beyond this, your message is stored in my personal email account, protected in line with standard email security practices.

5. How long I keep your information

I retain contact form submissions only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence, typically no longer than 12 months, unless you become a client, in which case standard business record-keeping periods apply.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data I hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how your data is processed
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise any of these rights, contact me at nick@nickdove.co.uk.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.

7. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Links to other websites

This Site links to Eutopia CIC and potentially other third-party websites (including LinkedIn). I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. Please review their own privacy policies separately.

9. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact me at nick@nickdove.co.uk.
